Yesterday we filmed our preliminary. I think that it went quite well. We experimented with lighting, shots and dialogue. I think that a strength of the preliminary was the editing, I think that we edited well with the shots we filmed. However, I think that a mistake we made was that we didn't experiment with shots enough, I think that this brought the film down because there was only so much we could do with the lack of creative shots. Another issue we faced was audio. When editing we realised that the sound of the dialogue had actually come out really badly, in the film it's hard to tell what the characters are saying. However, I think that a good thing that we did was add music, this added a lot more atmosphere to the sequence. I think we've learned that planning is very key. It's taught me that when we film the thriller, we should test the camera and sound and see how it comes out on the computer before we continue. Here is a link to our preliminary:
